Building a custom home should be exciting, not intimidating. The reason it feels overwhelming is usually uncertainty — what happens first, what does it cost, how long does it take? At Alethium Star Homes we've refined a clear, proven process so you always know exactly where you are and what comes next.

1. Consultation & vision

We start with a conversation — no pressure, no obligation. We'll talk through your lifestyle, your must-haves, your rough budget, and your timeline. If you already have land, we'll factor that in. If you don't, we'll point you toward the right homesite (including our own Troyan Lane lots).

2. Design & plan selection

Next we translate your vision into a plan. Start from one of our proven floor plans and customize it, or design something entirely from scratch. Because our builders, designers, and interior designers work under one roof, your layout, finishes, and budget all stay in sync from the very beginning.

3. Budget & specifications

Before a shovel hits the ground, you'll get a detailed scope and specification package — the finishes, fixtures, and allowances that define your home. This is where your design becomes a firm, transparent budget, so there are no surprises later.

4. Financing

With plans and a budget in hand, you'll secure your construction financing. Most of our clients use a construction loan that converts to a permanent mortgage once the home is complete. 5. Permitting & pre-construction

We handle the paperwork — permits, engineering, site prep, and scheduling. We'll confirm your lot is ready to build (utilities, drainage, foundation) and lock in the construction timeline.

6. Construction

Now your home takes shape. Throughout the build you'll have a single point of contact and regular updates, with the same craftsmanship we put into every Alethium Star home — quality framing, spray-foam efficiency, and finishes that last. See examples in our portfolio of completed homes.

7. Walkthrough & move-in

Before you get the keys, we'll walk the finished home with you top to bottom to make sure every detail meets our standard — and yours. Then it's move-in day.

8. Warranty & after-care

Our relationship doesn't end at closing. Every home is backed by our warranty, and we're here for you long after you've settled in.
